Pel, was a solo exhibition at Ciaccia Levi Gallery, Paris December 10th 2015 – January 21st 2016

Pel (taken from the Old French diminutive for skin) created a space where interior and exterior bled into one another and where the realms of fantasy and subjective experience were brought to the fore. The use of double entendres and a play with loaded, yet seemingly ambiguous imagery have long been important parts of my practice and through this solo installation I utilised this approach to confuse and assimilate relations between the surfaces and entities that I references such as skin and fur, cream and bodily excretions, gems and genitalia.
